Player Athletic Index and B1G Football Recruiting II

TrackingFootball has researched the  B1G Conference’s recruiting for the past two years and applied our proprietary Player Athletic Index (PAI) scores to each recruit.  We applied PAI scores which measure a player’s overall athleticism based on height, weight, position, track & field data and multi-sport information.

By comparing like data points we can arrive at objective scores evaluating each player’s general athleticism and more importantly we can compare each player athletically to other Division I players at the same position.  The PAI scoring scale is 0 to 5.0 (0 being marginal and 5.0 being exceptional) measuring a player’s height, weight, power and speed combination at a specific position. The PAI system is based on thousands of Division I players and the scores represent Division I level combination of size, power and speed.
